Women are incredible, and yet, I don’t know a single woman who hasn’t held deep pain and shame about herself at some point; feeling like she somehow isn’t enough or has failed. Maybe you know that feeling too, and maybe that’s why you’re here.

How often do you find yourself feeling like you aren’t enough no matter what you do?

How often do you avoid conflict even when someone has upset you? Or do you address it then feel guilty for standing up for yourself?

How often do you notice imposter syndrome creeping in-doubting your capabilities at work or home?

It doesn’t have to be this way.

I opened Grey Matter Wellness for you-the real, authentic, human, imperfect, incredible you. You don’t have to pretend here. This is a space to heal and grow where you are heard and respected just as you are today. Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

My Approach

I take a trauma sensitive, neuroscience informed, holistic approach to care and invite you to bring your whole self into therapy. We will work together to explore all the things that make you YOU-your strengths, concerns, history, responsibilities, relationships, and needs-without shame or judgement. My goal is that each client feels heard, seen, and supported in our work together. I value drawing upon our shared knowledge, mutual respect, authenticity, connectedness, and the sacredness of this work. Most importantly, I believe that you are the expert on you. Even though it may have been a while since you’ve felt like that, I will hold space and remind you of this until you find your way back home to yourself.

  • Convenient

    Already overwhelmed by your busy schedule? No worries – I’ve got you covered with virtual sessions and a wide range of appointment options. Why add the stress of sitting in traffic and looking for parking when you could be ready for session with just one click on your phone or computer from the comfort of your home or office?

    All paperwork, billing, and scheduling is done electronically and automated prior to our initial appointment to save you even more time and energy.

  • Comfort

    One of the perks of teletherapy is being able to meet from the comfort of your own familiar space, so I encourage you to take full advantage of that!

    I invite you to join from your favorite cozy, quiet spot. Maybe you’d even like to make yourself a cup of tea, grab your journal, or light that candle you love before logging in to session.

    It’s important to me that my clients feel comfortable while we meet. If you don’t have a space in mind that feels good to you, we can work together to create one.

  • Confidential

    Your privacy is extremely important to me.

    I will join you for all appointments from my private, secured office.

    Teletherapy sessions are held using a HIPAA compliant platform, and all paperwork is completed electronically through a HIPAA compliant client portal designed specifically to protect sensitive mental health related information.

  • Consistent

    Once we confirm what day and time works best for us to meet, I’ll set up a recurring appointment for you. That space is held for as long as it continues to work with your schedule. You’re busy, and this is one less thing you have to worry about keeping up with outside of session!

    There are exceptions of course-life happens! If you need to cancel or reschedule a recurring appointment, we can do that at any time. I’ll always confirm our next appointment with you at the end of each session, but if I something comes up between sessions requiring an appointment change all I ask is that you let me know so we can reschedule for a time that is better for you.

  • Contemporary

    Modern issues require modern approaches, and I am committed to staying up to date on relevant techniques and research.

    Therapy with me is collaborative-we are a team. I won’t nod silently the whole time, and I won’t keep you in the dark. Therapy doesn’t have to be mysterious, so if you have a question I encourage you to ask!

    I want you to feel comfortable to be your authentic self. Super formal isn’t my style and sessions are typically relaxed. I’m human, as are you, so let’s embrace that as we work together.
